 erry has had some of the best artists in fantasy supplying beautiful cover art and in some cases including artwork inside his novels. The first three Shannara novels had both cover and inside artwork done. It costs money, however, to commision artwork and print the drawings in a book, and that costly precedent soon stopped with the publication of Magic Kingdom For Sale - Sold!.
