Genesis of Shannara #4
As the publication date for A Princess of Landover quickly approaches, it is also the time where Terry nears close to finishing the next book.
This is just a quick update. Terry is only three chapters shy of finishing Book #4 in the Genesis of Shannara series. It is set several hundred years after the events of The Gypsy Morph and it is the first half of a two-book tale that tells the story of civilization's survivors. He is really happy with this first book of the duology.
When Terry finishes Book #4, he will then immediately begin writing Book #5 and hopes to have both done and fully edited by next summer. Book #4 will be released August 2010. No word yet when Book #5 will be released.

Is that to imply that there's a tiny chance it may come sooner than exactly one year after the previous Terry Brooks release?
Jason: There is a very small chance, yes, Book #5 could come out sooner than one year after #4. But that is only a small chance and we won't know until summer 2010 probably when Del Rey decides how to handle #5.
In short, don't get your hopes up. haha
Any insight into the details of the story (other than what you mentioned before)or any new characters?
