The World of Shannara Cover
Several years ago, Terry oversaw the completion of The World of Shannara, a fairly comprehensive guide to the Shannara world. Since that time Terry has written nine new novels that needed to be incorporated into the guide.
Del Rey this fall will be releasing an updated edition of The World of Shannara. It will have new paintings by artist Rob Alexander and new text by Teresa Patterson. Teresa has now included sections about Word/Void, Voyage, High Druid, and Genesis. The book will be released near the same time as The Gypsy Morph, this August 26th.

The cover looks great. Looking forward to the new material. Is this edition going to be available at the Signed Page?
Aggblade: It would be available at The Signed Page, but now the book has been pushed back to Fall of 2009. So in a year it will be available for pre-order at The Signed Page -- but oh what a long year.
