Terry is writing the last few pages of Book Three in the Genesis of Shannara series. When he is done, he will be left with a completed story and seemingly nothing to do.
So what next? For the last three years, Terry has been thinking about writing a new Landover novel—and that's what he is going to do next. The last Landover novel, Witches' Brew, was published in 1995. It has been 12 or 13 years. That is a long time and Terry is extremely excited to write about Ben, Willow, and the rest of the gang.
What do we know about it? The only thing we know for sure is Terry will be incorporating characters from another world bordering on the Landoverian mists. This from his recent Ask Terry answers.

im actually very anxious for the elfstones movie and the continuation of high druid and the nxt book for genesis
I read the Landover series way back when, after I finished all the Shannara books at the time. I remember enjoying them very much! I'm working my way through the entire Shannara series again right now, then on to Landover!
Yes, I have read the Landover series and am very much anticipating a new book. Any book Terry writes will be very much enjoyed.
Hi! I'm very exited thinking about new adventures of Ben and Willow! I'm a french reader, and Witche's Brew was published in France only 2 or 3 years ago... and the Shannara series are not yet entirely published!!! I'm a desesperate Terry's fan!'What about fims? thanks for all!!
I am very much looking forward to him revsiting the Landover series. While I love the Shannara series, as a reader, and a writer, I think you need to get into something new now and again. I am looking forward to what he can come up with this time!
bought elves of cintra two days ago just finished and cant wait for Book three in the genesis series.
I can't wait to find out what new lies in store Ben, Willow and company. As always I'm anxiously awaiting it and book 3 of genesis of shannara series!
